Service Description

Functional Mobility Flow is a thoughtfully designed movement practice that blends functional strength, joint mobility, and mindful yoga-based flow. This class is rooted in intelligent movement patterns that support how the body naturally moves in daily life, helping to improve range of motion, stability, coordination, and overall ease of movement. Each class is structured around intentional sequencing that explores mobility through multiple planes of motion, integrating strength and fluidity in a way that feels both supportive and accessible. Rather than moving for shape or appearance, the focus is on how the body functions, responds, and adapts through conscious, controlled movement. Breath is used as an anchor throughout the practice, guiding transitions and helping to create a steady connection between body and mind. Students are encouraged to move with awareness, noticing sensation, alignment, and internal feedback as they explore both dynamic and grounding elements of the practice. Functional Mobility Flow may include a combination of joint-focused mobility work, slow strength-building sequences, and fluid flow-based movement patterns. This variety allows the body to experience both stability and freedom, creating balance between control and release. This class is suitable for all levels, offering options and variations that allow each student to work at their own capacity while still engaging in meaningful, effective movement. Beyond improving flexibility, the practice supports the health and resilience of the joints, muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments while enhancing balance, coordination, and body awareness. By developing strength through expanded ranges of motion, students cultivate greater mobility, durability, and confidence in how they move both on and off the mat. Cancellation Policy

Registration, Cancellation & No-Show Policy To help us create the best experience for our teachers and community, advance registration is required for all classes at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time. While drop-ins are always welcome, please note that if one or no students are registered, the class or special event may be canceled, and a teacher may not be present. We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel a scheduled class or service, please do so at least 2 hours in advance to avoid losing your class credit and incurring a $15 cancellation or no-show fee. This policy helps honor the time, preparation, and energy of our teachers. Special events are non-refundable | No refunds or exchanges | Prices are subject to change without notice. Thank you for your understanding and continued support we truly look forward to practicing with you.

Signing Up: Advanced sign up on the website is required for all classes and special events. Doors lock 3 minutes after scheduled start time. Our apologies, but no late admittance is permitted. Class Cancellation Policy: To cancel a class please send a chat or email to us no later than 2 hours prior to start time, in order to retain your class credit.

 

Please make sure to sign up for class 1 hour prior to class start, as Ajna Urban Yoga reserves the right to cancel any scheduled yoga classes or special events where there is 0-1 attendees only, signed up.
