Svadhyaya is the Sanskrit term which means self-study and especially the recitation of the Vedas and other sacred texts. It is one of the 10 Yamas & Niyamas, which are the principles that help you to ditch the dramas of daily life. in turn freeing up energy for the pursuit of enlightenment, or whatever else that brings you happiness.
