Mindful Movement & Meditation
Movement for the body, meditation for the nervous system
Service Description
Mindful Movement & Meditation is a thoughtfully guided practice that weaves together three essential layers of awareness: mindfulness (inner awareness), movement (embodiment), and meditation (nervous system settling and integration). This class offers an intentional unfolding of breath, movement, and presence, designed for all levels of practice. This practice meets you exactly where you are, inviting breath to lead movement and awareness to shape the experience, regardless of where you are in your yoga journey. The movement portion emphasizes embodiment through accessible, mindful sequences that prioritize sensation over shape. Rather than focusing on external form or achievement, you are guided to connect breath to body and inner experience, creating space to release tension, awaken awareness, and deepen the connection between physical movement and internal awareness. Throughout the class, mindfulness serves as the anchor. You are continuously invited to observe your breath, thoughts, and physical experience with curiosity and presence, allowing the practice to become less about doing and more about experiencing. As the practice gradually shifts toward stillness, meditation becomes the integrative layer. This portion supports the nervous system in settling into a more regulated state, helping the body move out of stress patterns and into calm, clarity, and restoration. In this space, the effects of movement and breath begin to integrate more deeply, allowing for a sense of internal spaciousness and ease. This class is open and accessible to all practitioners and offers a supportive environment for exploring yoga as a practice of awareness, connection, and inner alignment. Expect clear guidance, intentional sequencing, and a space that supports both physical grounding and a deeper sense of presence within yourself. A guided meditation closes the class to support integration and nervous system settling.
