Service Description
Yin is a meditative healing practice using passive long-held floor poses. Yin Yoga bypasses the muscles allowing you to nourish and strengthen the deeper tissues in the body. The bodies connective tissues, fascia, joints, ligaments and bones receive gentle low load stress. Yin Yoga is often referred to as "yoga for the joints, not the muscles." Yin poses are held between 2- 5 minutes and the muscles stay passive in order to pass the stress on to the deeper tissues. Each Yin pose is an opportunity to go inward and find an appropriate balance of effort and ease. Practicing Yin Yoga increases flexibility and range of motion, as well as mindfulness. It encourages a healthy flow of life force in the body. Yin brings students a deeper experience which unfolds within the body, heart and mind. Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing, very meditative style of yoga combining postures that are coordinated with the breath and performed at a gentle pace which allows time to be present in each pose. Yin is suitable for all levels.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel your scheduled service, please do so at least 3 hours in advance, and we’ll be happy to reschedule your session. To honor the time and energy of our teachers and community, a $15 cancellation fee will apply if you do not cancel and do not attend your scheduled service.
